I love macarons

My latest baking obsession is macarons.  I started exploring macarons over 2 years ago and it has been fun and delicious.

Two of my favorites are chocolate shells filled with dark chocolate ganache and green shells filled with pear buttercream.
It has been a lot of trial and error getting the batter consistency,  drying time and baking temperature just right but totally worth it.

perfectly baked macaron shells with a pretty ruffle

chocolate macaron shells have been the trickiest to make by far.

mmm ganache!
