We got a nice slow soaking rain yesterday and the garden is fully refreshed, now the sun is shining along with a cool breeze and the Peony blossoms are perfuming the air!

Along with the peonies, many other plants are coming into blossom. Spring is in full swing!

I've never smelled a peony--is the scent similar to a gardenia?
ReplyDeleteJacqueline Onassis is said to have loved peonies!
The smell is wonderful, not as sweet as gardenia, a little more spicy with hints of cloves.
